Public Relations Officer (PRO)

Job Summary:
A Public Relations (PR) Officer is needed to plan and manage PR initiatives and make sure that the public, media, and other stakeholders are effectively communicated with.
You should be a well-organized, composed professional who can handle a crisis if you want to be a PR officer. We anticipate you to be a thinker with strong communication abilities. We’d like to meet you if you also have faith in your capacity for project management and public speaking.
The promotion of a positive company image will be your aim.

Responsibilities:
Create public relations initiatives and media relations plans.
Maintain open communication with senior management and work with internal teams (like the marketing department).
Revise and update advertising materials and publications (such as brochures, videos, and posts on social media).
Produce and release press releases.
Organize PR activities for the company, such as open houses and press conferences.
Look for joint ventures, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities.
Respond to questions from the public and the media.
Monitor news coverage and stay current with market developments.
Create and deliver PR reports.
Control public relations issues.

Qualifications and abilities:
Experience managing media relations (online, radio, and print) with demonstrable experience as a public relations officer or in a position related to PR
prior experience conducting research, producing, and editing articles
adept with Microsoft Office and social media
Video/photo editing experience and familiarity with project management tools are advantages.

Public relations, journalism, communications, or a related field, with a BSc or BA.
