Junior Accountant

We are searching for a motivated junior accountant to manage routine accounting work on behalf of the financial department. You will be a member of a group of experts that are tasked with keeping the company’s finances organized and transparent.
The junior accountant’s daily duties include a sizable portion of preparing financial statements and reporting. The ideal applicant will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, be at ease working with numbers, and pay close attention to detail.
The objective is to support the department’s overall efficient functioning and aid the business in having a complete understanding of its financial situation. It can make the best decisions and achieve long-term success in this way.

Responsibilities :

To guarantee that all company transactions are documented, post and process journal entries.
Update your receivables list and send out invoices.
Update the payables list and carry out the reconciliations
Assist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in accordance with legal, corporate, and accounting standards.
help as needed with reviewing invoices, payroll records, etc.
Ensure that financial data in databases is updated so that information is current and readily available as needed.
Construct and provide weekly/monthly reports.
help senior accountants with the monthly and yearly closings.
help with additional accounting projects.

Requirements and Skills:

Excellent organizational skills and shown experience as a junior accountant
Excellent attention to detail, aptitude for math and statistics, and critical thinking
good command of the rules and procedures of accounting and financial reporting
Excellent MS Office skills and experience with pertinent computer programs (like SAP)
Although not necessary, qualifications (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) are a plus.
B.Com./B.A. in finance, accounting, or a related field
